How to Enable Email Notifications
Managing a large display network can be overwhelming. With AnySignage email notifications, the administrator will receive emails whenever a display encounters an error or goes offline for an extended period.
- From the Administration Menu, select Settings.
- Under the Maintenance tab, enable Email Alert.
- Set the Max Display Timeout as needed. This defines how long a display remains offline before the CMS sends an email notification. Adjust this time based on your preference.
- (Optional) Enable Send Repeat Display Timeout if you want repeated alerts.
Configuring Email Recipients
- Under the Network tab, add the email address of the administrator who should receive notifications. Please note that this field accepts a single email address only.
- Click Save.
Enabling Alerts for Individual Displays
- Navigate to Display Management and browse the list of displays.
- Edit each display where you want email alerts enabled.
- Under Display Maintenance, enable Email Alerts.
- Select Use Global Timeout, then click Save.
Once these settings are applied, you will receive email notifications whenever an error occurs on any configured display.
